When thinking about how I want to structure the narrative story of the Apollo 11 project, I came up with 2 ideas.

The first idea was the more traditional narrative story which takes the user from takeoff, moonwalk and back to earth again.

The second idea was a timeline that showed all the Apollo missions that finally led up to the famous Apollo 11 event and all the Apollo missions that came after. ( The big emphasis will be on Apollo 11 mission)

After some consideration, I decided to go for the traditional story route. This is because in my previous research, I have learnt much about the journey of the Saturn V rocket from take-off to landing on the moon. I am very much fascinated by the small details of the journey, from orbiting around Earth, leaving parts of the rocket behind, the space manoeuvres and much more. If I went for the timeline route, I wouldn’t be able to include all these small details and capture the amazing journey of the Apollo 11 Astronaut in its fullness as I have to leave room for the rest of the Apollo missions.

Now that I have decided on a general story structure, I planned out a very loose story flow. I did this in Figma because I find that it is cleaner and easier to edit compared to planning on paper;

When I had planned out the loose story flow, I started to sketch up some wireframes in preparation for doing a high-fidelity prototype in Figma;
