Having designed my CV and cover letter, it is now time for me to start thinking about designing my portfolios.

Mood boarding

Learning from last semester's experience of designing a landing page, personally, I like to start by looking at other people's work to give me some inspiration. In class, I gained a really useful resource, a website called Siteinspire;

Siteinspire showcases some really cool web and interactive designs to get inspirations from. what I love about this website is that you can quickly scan through many different portfolio designs in a short time, but there are also portfolio links provided so you can go into the actual portfolio website and learn more about the project if you wish to.

Through Siteinspire, I was able to take screenshots of the websites that I liked the look of. I made a little mood board on Figma from my collection of screenshots.

Sketching on paper & low fidelity prototype

When I started sketching on paper, I still had little idea of what design I wanted for my portfolio website. Therefore, I made a few different layout designs to gain some feedback. My layouts are very much inspired by some of the websites that I saw in Siteinspire and from my mood board.
