For my Apollo 11 project, I wanted 2 fonts. One front is for headings and subheadings; this is where I can pick a more creative and fun font that shows off the personality of the project. Another font is needed for larger chunks of text and paragraphs; this font needs to be easily readable and compliments the heading font.

When thinking about what kind of fonts I wanted the heading and subheadings, I began by reading articles on modern, futuristic fonts. Below are some of the best resources I read from;

With the help of the articles I read, the next thing I did was to compile all the fonts which I found appealing in Figma;

Unknowingly I have compiled a lot of different fonts; the next thing I needed to do was narrow down the choices. I selected four fonts based on 2 criteria;

• I decided that I preferred thicker fonts because they have better visual contrast when placed with smaller text, but I also did not want the font to be overpowering bold to the point that it grabs all attention.
• I’m also looking for a font that feels a little Sc-fi, and I find that feeling is usually found within minimalist, geometric and font's unique letterforms.
