The main adoption page is where the user will see all their adopted animals together and a summary of their monthly contribution will also be shown to the user.
There are 2 options at the top of the page - “my adoption” is where the animals shown are exclusively adopted by the user ( the user is the only one paying the monthly donation); “ collective adoption “ is where the user can collectively co-adopt animal with their friends and family members ( I thought this would also be a good function for corporate/classroom use where multiple people come together to adopt the animals).
Unfortunately, with the limited time I have left, I was only able to design the “my adoption” page. Below are the initial wireframe sketches (I made 2 different versions);
When I prototyped my wireframe sketches onto Figma, I was unhappy with both versions of the main adoption page. Therefore I knew that I needed to experiment and explore the different layouts and visual ideas to achieve a better outcome;
