Our third and last project this semester is to redesign the Sustainable development goals (SDGs) for a target audience of either children or undergraduates. We need to reconsider both the visual design, content and content delivery of the SDGs so that the final product aids our target audience’s understanding of the SDGs.

What are sustainable development goals?

Before I picked my target audience between children and undergraduates, I looked deeper into the SDGs.

“ The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) or Global Goals are a collection of 17 interlinked objectives designed to serve as a "shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future……The SDGs were formulated in 2015 by the United Nations General Assembly(UNGA) as part of the Post-2015 Development Agenda, which sought to create a future global development framework. “ - Wikipedia

This is a non-profit operation, although there are 17 different goals, they can all be grouped into the following categories;

and some goals, such as gaol 13 - “ climate actions”, fall into several categories, such as “clean energy”, “land and oceans”, and “cities and communities”.
